Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour. Poor visibility in heavy snow. When: Beginning late this afternoon and ending Thursday morning. The heaviest snow is expected to fall tonight. Additional Information: Snow, at times heavy, will begin late this afternoon. Total amounts of up to 25 cm are possible. This snowfall will impact the evening commute. Snow may become mixed with ice pellets tonight over some areas. Snow will gradually taper off Thursday morning. ### Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
