While it’s technically not a long weekend, some Ontario residents could enjoy a four-day Canada Day holiday if they book a day off on Monday (June 30).
If you’re looking for beer, wine or spirits to extend the party through Tuesday for Canada Day (July 1), plenty of options are available.
The Beer Store has announced 105 stores will be open with limited hours on July 1.
“We know customers appreciate the convenience of The Beer Store — cold beer and an efficient return system that gets people their money back,” Ozzie Ahmed, The Beer Store’svice-president of retail, said in a news release.
Most stores open on Canada Day will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Throughout the summer months, many TBS retail locations will operate with expanded hours.

Convenience stores
Convenience stores with alcohol retail licences are allowed to sell beer, wine, cider and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages on holidays, but only between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
