The River Run Centre is ready for a new season celebrating live shows. Local band the Flamingos helped kick off the “It’s Really Live!” 2025-2026 season on Wednesday, May 28 at a special event.
“Considering the theme this year, how could we not have some live music?” said Kasia Rusiniak, program manager. “There’s definitely some energy back in the building and we’re really excited.”
This year’s highlights include performances by musicians Tom Morello, Serena Ryder, Jann Arden, Valdy and more. There will be a dance series, a comedy series and family shows.

She thanked series sponsors Sleeman and Spring Mill Distillery, ߲ݴýToday, Borealis, Miijidaa, the Wooly, Park Eatery, Magic 106.1 and all the folks who sponsor shows and contribute. She also thanked the performers and guests.
“There will be something for everyone, there’s a lot of variety this season,” said Rusiniak. “There are artists who are at the beginning of their careers and legends who have been touring forever.”
