A driver in Caledon with an inflatable canoe covering a Subaru’s front windshield is in hot water.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) shared a photo on X of a car with an inflatable canoe tied to it blocking the driver-side windshield.
, police said the driver was charged with no clear view of the front.

Last month, OPP in the Lennox, Addington area were alerted to with black plastic covering the driver’s side window.
“There was no ability to see around the tape on the driver’s side window and no way to roll the window down,” stated a post on the OPP-East Division Facebook page.
The 39-year-old Brampton driver was charged with no clear view to the sides and colour coating obscuring the interior, making the car unfit for travel.
Police can also lay more serious charges, as one driver in northern Ontario learned in December 2024.
